We are pleased to annoince that Edition Five of Process Journal is back from the printers and on sale!

Edition Five is the first edition to feature our design update and overhaul. Comprising of a more flexible grid, updated captioning, new contents page and a brand new cover, the updated design still stays true to our original objective: ‘capturing beautiful work in a printed publication that allows the design to do the talking’. We feel these changes have made it that little bit easier to read and a touch more refined. As part of the update, we have also revised our structure. Now comprising two essays, ten interview features and two written profiles, we feel this adjusted structure allows us to include a greater diversity of content and assists us in defining what Process is really about.

Over the past 12 months or so, we have being developing a number of brands set to hit the shelves of Australia's newest hardware chain, Masters.

From naming and branding, to a complete roll out of packaging and in-store layout, Profile Kitchens has really taken shape and we are now starting to see all our hard work take shape.

Pictured is one of the 112 different door options for the Profile range: the design allows for flexibility when facing the shelves — with a portrait / landscape front / back respectively.

Our good friend and local café Torino Express recently asked us to give them a smart new business card which just turned up today! Utilising a heavy spot UV, the black-on-black really stands out. Be sure to drop in and say Hi to Rich at 53 Stewart Street in Richmond for a great coffee — and if you're eating, get the toasted roast beef turkish bread with onion relish!

Last week, Process launched it's first iPad app!

Process 4.5 was launched 2 weeks ago, and we have just got around to uploading the job to our site here. Celebrating a year of the Journal, 4.5 was an excellent opportunity for us to try some new mediums and formats for Process.

Printed only using black, and on lightweight 70gsm Bond Paper, the first in a mini-series of publications features an essay and conversation with Radim Peško by Brad Haylock, complete specimens of the featured typefaces (Replica, Theinhartd, Tiempos and Graphik), as well as responses from a selection of contributors such as Brett Phillips (3 Deep Design), Michael C. Place (Build), Mason Wells (Bibliothèque), Tom Crabtree (Manual), Tony Brook (Spin) and many more.

Every year the Victorian Government inducts 20 women into the Victorian Honour Roll of Women. This year, the event was held on the 16th of March and Studio Verse was placed in charge of the event art direction and design.

Congratulations to all the women inducted and to all the staff in the Department of Human Services for a great night.
